MCC Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club located in Richmond, KY.
MCC is Madison County's finest grappling school, founded on the ideas of self-defense, practicality, and accessibility. We welcome people of all ages and walks of life. We train hard, and instill a sense of aliveness in our training that is often lacking in other disciplines of martial arts.
We are proudly affiliated under Valhalla Grappling Academy out of Frankfort, KY, and are also members of the Carlson Gracie Team.
MCC Jiu Jitsu is not a business, but rather a co-op of like minded people who value the art. Because we're not trying to operate as a business, we are able to offer classes at a very reasonable rate.
Our monthly rate (unlimited training) is $40.
Our drop in fee is $5.
We also offer discounts for military, law enforcement, and students.
We offer classes every weekday and on Saturday.

Our Instructors
Daniel Kennon - Black Belt - Head Instructor/Treasurer
Daniel is a black belt in BJJ and a black belt in Judo. He is also the treasurer of MCC.
Sam Ferguson - Black Belt
Sam Ferguson is a 1st degree black belt in Jiu Jitsu under Carlson Gracie Jr. with world level medals at every belt since purple belt. He is a blue belt in Judo, has 10 + years of wrestling experience and coaches wrestling at Madison Central High School. Sam has a 10-1 record in amateur MMA, 4-3 in boxing, including two semi final appearances at the Chicago Golden Gloves, and is 2-0 in Thai Boxing.
Rodney Young - Brown Belt
Anthony Poor - Brown Belt
Anthony began training BJJ in 2012, after spending years as a freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestler in Ohio.
Jeff Purvis - Brown Belt
Both Jeff and Josh are world champions at old man lazy Jiu Jitsu.
Josh McFarland - Brown Belt
Josh is a black belt in Judo and a brown belt in BJJ. Both Josh and Jeff are world champions at old man lazy Jiu Jitsu.
